I like a late start. I want to pack in as much fun stuff into my weekend as I can, and a full Saturday of markets, food, hanging with friends and a few drinks in the afternoon can only be topped off with a special show at the infamous Studio at the Opera House. Late Night Lounge is the SOH's new cabaret/dance/song/supper show in the interesting and intimate mezzanine'd Studio space beneath the House steps. I'm keen to see how the space will be arranged - the last show I saw had The Basics playing to the crowd sitting at round tables by candle and fairy light. Variety is always good - if you're going to be sitting down for a few house, don't you want things to be mixed up, playful, and a bit quirky? I hope there'll be dancing - who'll be the first to crank it out? It's all up in the air - I hope that the many performers can pull this new show off - I have been reading up on the night's debut a couple of weeks ago and by many accounts it was pretty bloody fun. Who will be the 'surprise guests'? Perhaps success weighs on when the dancing starts. Let's see!

Create a short story by selecting three random books from the UTS Library and see what happens."The Japanese train and subway system is outstanding, since it is extremely safe and efficient. Trains run strictly on schedule, and they deliver you close to just about anywhere you want to go. Many foreigners
...be they Americans, Germans, Japanese, Chinese, Pakistanis, spiral the war further out of control. Terror tactics on all sides initiate new networks that exist across geographical boundaries, much like global capital and it's transnational technologies
...and conflicting norms of dress, speech and behavior which give rise to increased tension between tourists and residents. Racial and ethnic factors and color might also be a contributing factor. Some Australians who experienced the threat of Japanese invasion in World War II, and veterans who fought in Asia in subsequent campaigns, still find some difficulty in adjusting to the influx of Japanese visitors to Australia in recent years."
